I am particularly interested in biological and organic processes. My approach to art is resembles the one of an alchemist. I investigate how elements of nature (earth, flesh, gold, fire, …) can communicate with each other, generating visual metaphors that mirror precise conditions of the human soul.
As science uses formal tools to describe and examine phenomena, art makes use of poetic instruments to describe the internal processes of mankind and the reality surrounding them. I often glean from themes that are either religious or pertaining to the sacred and mythological.
The capacity these themes have to influence collective imagination is one of the main points around which my research gravitates. Art is the best instrument to investigate the spirit of mankind.
