Luisa Corcione

Luisa Corcione is a director and visual artist who lives and works in Naples.  She was trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples and at the Universidad de Bellas Artes in Valencia where she followed the painter Josè Saborit in depth with painting and visual rhetoric.  In the theatrical field she has been assistant director of Pierpaolo Sepe with whom she has tightened a strong artistic harmony in the field of the theatrical practices. In 2015 she founded an artistic association of cultural promotion from which different encounters with Italian and inter-national artists were born, this allows her to create queens that include different collaborations ranging from theatre-dance to prose. He has made several theatrical directories bringing his theater within National and International Stables and Festivals. In 2021 she won the Roma Fringe Festival, winning the Alessandro Fersen Prize for research and innovation and the award for best dramaturgy with the show "CA/1000", a work dedicated to the figure of Camille Claudel, the same year she won the premio Nazionale Primiceri for the best show. Currently she is engaged in the tour of the same and the processing of projects that include different artistic expressions. As a painter she exhibited in several Italian galleries and performed abroad. His painting was born at first as an informal research then he devoted himself to the themes of waiting and love. Corcione’s paintings are often notes of her queens. The play was first created in the painting, as was the search for actors. Often the aforementioned works are staged during his theatrical performances, not going to replace the scenography but enriching the scene making the show a double event that preserves in itself the spirit of living exhibition. She dedicated herself to painting, sculpture and performing art and to virtual reality applied to art.  Her art always pays particular attention to women in all its declination and collaboration through the sharing of projects with artists from different fields, from poems
