The research of Luigi Auriemma, an artist of absence and virtuality, continues his already clear and defined path that turns out to be consubstantial with the specific film on transparency and on the margin between visibility and invisibility. The work becomes a trace on the logical possibility, it is a semantic trap that has its origins on the semiological difference: meaning and signifier meet. His works, signs, words, materials are symbols of the ineluctable continuity of life and death. 

Between matter, words, thoughts thatfleetingly slip away, the artist shifts his attention to the work of art, considering it as a living and seeing organism. The work can also live beyond the physical limit that justifies its presence and also through our gaze; while we observe the work, it is the work itself that observes us. 

The work of the Neapolitan artist intersects texts and images. The word questions itself about its own consistency, origin, nature, before becoming an image of itself. The materials used are highly evocative, too: clay, light, glass, blood, hair, ash ...
