Luca Gioacchino Di Bernardo

My own research is expressed mainly through the practice of drawing: in it, the ancient legacy of shamanic cave paintings coexists,  in a specular manner, with the cold mechanic of the instruction manuals we use to assemble our furniture.

In my line of work, therefore, a deep need to exorcise the present merges with the need to investigate and reflect on the past, mixing various layers of experiences and interpretations.

I’m deeply interested in all those ontological “border areas” where things appear in their own multiple truths, in an obsessive dialectic between themselves and their opposite.

In my studio there is chaos most of the time. In my studio you will drink the worst coffee in town. In my studio all kinds of animals are welcome.
